Explore Pluto and NASA’s Historic New Horizons Mission at Plutopalooza at ÃØÃÜÖ±²¥ APL
Celebrate New Horizons' Historic Pluto Flyby at ÃØÃÜÖ±²¥ Applied Physics Laboratory in Laurel, Maryland
Join us to celebrate the recent New Horizons Pluto flyby at Plutopalooza on Saturday, July 18, from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. The event will take place in the Kossiakoff Center at the ÃØÃÜÖ±²¥ University Applied Physics Laboratory (APL) in Laurel, Maryland. APL designed, built and operates the spacecraft for NASA.
This special, interactive presentation will give participants a chance to learn about NASA’s New Horizons mission — the first to fly by Pluto and into the Kuiper Belt. Guests will have the opportunity to visit an Exploration Station and catch a Plutopalooza show at 11 a.m. or 2 p.m. All ages are welcome.
The event is free and open to the public.
